Convert Office documents to PDF
Prizm Content Connect SharePoint Edition allows users to convert any of the over 300 supported formats, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, to PDF and SWF on the server. This enables organizations to standardize on particular formats, such as PDF. Regardless of the varied file formats coming into the system, Prizm Content Connect can convert the content to a standard format, making it easier to share and secure information internally, with external partners and customers as well.
Protect Sensitive Information
Using SharePoint's User Management and Permissions you can control what functionality each user can access. Functions including Print, Save, and Copy can be controlled on a per user or per group level. Prizm Content Connect's Digital Rights Management (DRM) integration allows you to specify permissions through a user interface or an easy to use API. Excellent document viewer
Quick document previews was always something that our company needed in SharePoint 2010. Prizm would give us an easy to configure solution that works on almost all of our documents. The viewer can be used in many different libraries for many different purposes and would work quite well for the majority of applications we need it for.

Documentation could be improved
Great product, works better if configured right
Versions before 4.4 had performance issues. But with 4.6+ things are super cool. Recommend to get support license. Very responsive. Our patch for a bug fix was delivered in less than 24 hours. Which company does that?
Highly recommended for Sharepoint Viewing, Rights Management in Sharepoint.

DRM out of box
adeptol viewer is performing slow
kindly advice and enhance the adeptol product as I mentioned. Not know whether got another way to improve the performance. The root cause might come from calling adeptol web service and generating pdf and swf file...

Does not support AX format. Support said they will add it in next 3 months. So looking forward to that. But it's only 1 week now, so hoping they will. No other issues so far.

Great Product. Fast and excellent support
Awsome product. We are using this as a part of our sharepoint install and Canada center. We are also using the Digital Rights Management.

Avoid this product, there are better options
Does not prevent downloading unless you configure personalized versions of a page, remove publishing infrastructure site features, and disable toolbar for EVERY document library. Leaves too many backdoors open to be considered secure for view only purposes. Support is 1 person with a cell phone and provides a standard answer of "reinstall" or "your document is corrupt".
