Communities
Where is the SharePoint Integration?

Tomoye Communities delivers some great videos in their demonstration site. According to the website material, Tomoye Communities shares the ability to use Windows Authentication and the .Net Platform with SharePoint. A Powerpack is also available with webpart that expose information from the Tomoye community.
Given SharePoint is a collaboration platform, does limited integration with a closed, redundant system like this make sense? I don't see a great integration story from the marketing materials.

I have a client who gets a lot of use out of this product. If you absolutely have to have this functionality on a SharePoint site, it does it.

I used Tzunami Deployer on a migration project from 2003 to 2007 with a domain change. None of the other products I researched had the capability of changing the modified by and other list metadata from the username in the old domain to the username in the new domain. Check out my write up with screenshots at my blog (http://blogs.microlinkllc.com/tresing/archive/2008/10/02/sharepoint-2007-upgrade-with-a-domain-migration.aspx).
