I have kept an eye on this from the begining.

Easy to install fresh and the source code is available.

Hard to upgrade with a lot of manual steps so I choose to just remove any existing webparts then rebuild them using the new version (had only 4).

easy customizable and plenty of chart types to chose from.
uses ASP.NET charting framework from Microsoft

tried and uninstalled as you need to check the screen all the time.
email notification did not work for me.
was not able to add my own KPIs to monitor
seems to give false alarms especially when either the network or the server is overloaded.

This is a must have if your solution include multiple siteswith subsites and want a Dashboard like top site.

Used in conjuction with the List Rolup you can build great calendar applications inside SharePoint
