| Pros | The migration manager is an excellent tool to substantially mitigate the biggest risk in SharePoint upgrade projects - content migration. Content migration is an often neglected, and crucial task that is given cursory attention and Migration Manager performs it fantastically!
The (very) simple setup and easy drag and drop user interface masks the complexity and the time-consuming nature of the task at hand. It takes care of background worries like keeping versioning information, user information, and so on..... |
| Cons | A few files slip through it's gaze and need to be moved over manually, but this might be user error... :) |
