The CustomWare Connector for SharePoint and JIRA lets users interact with JIRA from within SharePoint, reducing the number of systems they need to access to get their work done.
The CustomWare Connector for SharePoint and Atlassian JIRA consists of three SharePoint web parts that let business users display and interact with JIRA projects, filters, and issues from within SharePoint.
1. The JIRA Projects web part shows all projects in your JIRA instance, and displays project names and descriptions. A user can choose to go to a selected project within JIRA, and is also able to add an issue to a project without leaving SharePoint.
2. The JIRA Filters web part displays all of the filters a user has created in JIRA. A user can click on a filter to bring up a list of all issues associated with that filter, and can choose to go to JIRA to view the issues associated with any filter.
3. The My JIRA Issues web part displays the issues associated with a selected filter. The user can configure or at anytime modify the web part to display any of their available filters. A user can add an issue from the Issues web part, and can drill into a specific issue to view details. With the CustomWare Connector for SharePoint and JIRA information flows more effectively in support of work processes, giving users easier access to the information they need to get their work done.
