DocAve SharePoint Monitor provides a real-time, graphical topology of the Microsoft SharePoint environment, including all servers and their functions, relationships, roles, services, and system health. It lets you explore the entire deployment, with search filters by Domain, Server Name, IP address, and Site Collection.

Via the dashboard, users can ascertain available Web Services, Completed and scheduled Backup Jobs (at every object-level), and System Health (via Log Histories) – all presented via a customizable 3D charts and plot-graphs.

I found this tool to be extremely easy to set up and use. One of its greatest strengths is that it is part of a more comprehensive toolset that adds tremendous value to our sharepoint infrastructure. we have recently experienced changes to our sharepoint farm and some turnover in our IT organization. DocAve is a solid, comprehensive platform that has made our lives more productive, maintained our compliance and helped us to minimize our storage costs.

Be aware! No where on AvePoint's connecting site does it say you must also get other trial downloads and install them in order to get this "free" tool.

If you want to see how your SharePoint is setup and functioning this free tool is worth installing as it can save you days.

AvePoint offer excellent support on all their products and are worth considering when it comes to SharePoint applications.
