SharePoint Search String Highlighter is an add-on to Microsoft SharePoint that adds word highlighting to the default search page of the SharePoint portal (SPS 2003/MOSS 2007) and SharePoint Services (WSS 2.0/WSS 3.0). When the user searches for a word, the string marker highlights the word in the search results if it is found in the result document's description. The String Highlighter also marks the words that were searched for inside the found documents (.doc, .docx. .txt. .htm, .PDF and more).
Remark: MOSS 2007 provides highlighting in search result page, but does not provide highlighting inside documents.
