Image Rotator Web Part rotates images from any SharePoint Picture library.  Select the entire library or a specific subfolders.  Images can be rotated randomly or sequentially when the screen refreshes or based on a specified schedule.  Fade transition is available and the time for this transition is editable as is the background color.  This is a great web part to add more life and interest to your SharePoint sites and pages.

The Image Rotator Web Part comes with comes with a robust installer to allow it to be easily deployed within any SharePoint environment.

Great Webpart

I am using it to show pictures of our parties on our website. It is easy to understand and it is easy to change the settings. The fade in effect is great and being able to change how long you want each picture to show before the next one comes up is good too.

Pros This webpart works great.
Cons There was some minor issues using the installer to install the webpart. Kept getting an error message in the Solutions management. I learned that Solution Management will say it is not installed when actually it is.

Easy to use, simple and effective

The tool was installed by our administrator and without any issues. It works great. We use it to highlight company/product awards on our corporate site, and for an top employee image on the HR site. The only effect that is available is a fade in, but it looks great, not too intrusive, so its probably the best choice anyway. I am not a developer, work for an HR dept, but I have no issues using this web part.
