The free ADVIS Get User Web Part displays the login name or full name (display name) of the currently logged on user. It can be wrapped up in selectable html tags (span, div or p) and formatted as you wish with a configurable style-class. Further on, you can configure GetUser to be linked to the current user's "My Site".
