Welcome users to your portal by displaying a personal welcome message that includes the user's name. The Hello Web Part for SharePoint features a standard message which changes depending on the time of day. Example: "Good Afternoon, Mary Jones".
Currently available formats:
None: Good Afternoon, Mary Jones
Bold: Good Afternoon, Mary Jones
Italics: Good Afternoon, Mary Jones
Underline: Good Afternoon, Mary Jones
Other features:
- Use your own custom greeting messages, in any language.
- Choose different ways to display user name: First/Last, Last/First, First, Last.
- Change the text color of the user name.
