We know from our experience that the view of the organizational structure is one of the most basic functionality used by employees (SharePoint's users). It is a proper area for new employees to get accustomed to the organizational structure. Moreover, here the manager is able to find needed information about subordinates immediately.
Employee search allows searching by first or last name of an employee.
User profile
Standard user profile contains only basic information such as email address, job title or phone number. User profiles within WebCon Organization Structure can contain additional employee information such as position details, personal information and employee photo. The data is displayed in a clear and readable way.
Two-ways synchronization with Active Directory
WebCon Organization Structure offers two-way completely automatic synchronization between SharePoint and Active Directory. New users added to AD will be added to SharePoint site collection automatically. Process of adding users to WSS can be configured. It is possible to choose OU (Organization Unit) from Active Directory or create a filter to transfer only users with emails. Transferring process can be managed in a simple way from SharePoint Administration Site. All modifications of user profiles in SharePoint will be made at the same time in Active Directory.
