Clear SharePoint List Items makes it possible to clear SharePoint list items in a rapid, timely manner. One click will delete all of your unwanted list items – saving you from having to delete them one by one by one.
Items are deleted in batches of 50. This prevents HTTP timeout issues when clearing lists with lots of items (over a few thousand). Each screen deletes a batch of 50 items, then redirects to itself to delete the next batch of 50 items. The user is kept informed of the progress of how many items are still left to be deleted in the list.
Once the last batch of items has been deleted form the list, the user is taken back to the list view from which the Clear List Items action was invoked.
