Tzunami Deployer for EMC eRoom® enables migrating EMC eRoom content into SharePoint 2007. The solution allows the user to run the export command on one machine, while loading the data onto another. With the ability to connect remotely to the EMC eRoom server, users easily chose the content to be migrated from eRoom to SharePoint 2007.

Security migration
As part of the export process, Tzunami Deployer for eRoom exports users and groups, as well as the following permissions:
- Read Item
- Create Item
- Delete Item
- Edit Item
- Change ACL
- Delete Room
- Edit Metadata
- Can Create Rooms
- Can Modify Member List
Using Tzunami Deployer’s security mappings, users can perform the migration of users, groups (and groups membership) and permissions even across Active Directory domains.
Attachments
In order to bridge between the technical differences between eRoom and SharePoint, Tzunami Deployer for eRoom provides two modes of operations:
- Regular export: In this mode, only attachments that are files are exported.
- Separated items: In this mode, attachments are separated from their “owning” item, allowing users to remodel the content structure in order to meet SharePoint limitations.
