MetaVis CLASSIFIER is a bulk re-organization tool for SharePoint content. Assign new metadata values and new content types; move files to different folders, lists, sites or servers; or do both at the same time.

Classifier allows you to tag and relocate previously loaded documents, in bulk, with regulatory data, retention dates, and useful keywords. MetaVis CLASSIFIER utilizes a familiar Windows Explorer user interface, allowing users to drag-and-drop items. CLASSIFIER deployment characteristics simplify its use in complex IT environments. The majority of the functions are performed using out-of-the-box SharePoint interfaces (APIs) and do not require any components or agents installed on the SharePoint server.
In addition, it enables support for Microsoft Online (BPOS) and other hosted SharePoint deployments. A small MetaVis WEB Service can be installed on the target SharePoint WEB Front End enables retention of core item properties, like created by, modified by, created at, and modified at.
