The "Birthday & Anniversary Reminder" Web Part selects the forthcoming birthdays, anniversaries or "newly hired employees" of users from the MOSS User Profile Store and displays the selected profile property fields in a freely configurable template. The selection is based upon the User Profile "Birthday" and "Hire Date" fields.

The Web Part can be used with Windows SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS) andSharePoint 2010 Standard or Enterprise(Please note that there is aseparate version for SharePoint 2010).

There is also a version available for WSS 3.0 and Sharepoint 2010Foundation which gets the information from a Sharepoint List (asopposed to the User Profile Store)

Great User Profile web part for this solution!

This web part works exactly as advertised against the User Profile service. From this one and the Staff Directory, we are purchasing several more to give our customer sites a 'wow' factor.

Product Reviews

Pros	Can customize header as needed with HTML. Can show ANY property, including custom.
Cons	Not really a con, but the SPS-Birthday property is targeted with no override.
